Dr. Joseph Paun is a local boy, born and raised in South Holland, IL. Dr. Joe has a long history of being an accomplished student and athlete. He studied Chemistry and Kinesiology at the University of Illinois and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science, receiving many records and awards. Just three years later, he graduated from the National University of Health Sciences with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. The following year, he finished his Master's degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. Dr. Joe's passion with health and wellness stems from his history as an athlete; he was a wrestler at Thornwood High School, as well as at the University of Illinois. He also has dabbled in the MMA world and in track and field, completing four marathons. Dr. Joe has a true passion for being an early stepping stone in health care and providing low risk options in complementary care for patient's health and well being.

Dr. Sarah is a believer in chiropractic through and through. She was introduced to this profession over 15 years ago. You can read her blog and how she became a patient at Paun Pearls.
She loves it, she preaches it and she lives it. When she feels a cold coming on, she gets adjusted. When she is sluggish on energy, she gets adjusted. When she feels a tension headache coming on, she gets adjusted. When she has stomach cramps, she gets adjusted. And if the day ever comes of her lower back being a pain, she will get adjusted. YES!!! Chiropractic will help with all of the above.
For anyone in search of the formalities, Dr. Sarah was born and raised in SW Virginia. You can identify a twang within minutes of speaking with her. She graduated high school in 1999 and immediately continued her education at Radford University, receiving her B.S. Foods and Nutrition in 2003. She immediately made the big move to Lombard, IL to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic at NUHS.
There she met her husband, Dr. Joe. She completed her education in 2007 and shortly there after, they decided to open their own practice while growing their family. They have two children, Nadia is 3 1/2 and Junior is 1.
